Hip Hop Architecture Camp

Hip Hop Architecture Camp (HHAC) is a free intensive camp using Hip Hop culture as a catalyst to introduce underrepresented youth to architecture, urban planning, and design. This summer, AFA partnered with The Carver Museum & Cultural Center to bring HHAC to a group of students at the Carver’s summer program, with the help of our amazing community.

Students learned how design shapes cities, made their own designs, and visited local firms Chioco Design and Furman + Keil Architects. Martinez Moore Engineers kept the snacks and supplies stocked, and our faves at No-Comply Skate Shop provided some great giveaways.

We hope to bring HHAC back in 2024 – click here to support our programs!
